The open-plan lounge and dining area makes use of full height floor-to-ceiling windows to give an incredible panoramic view with scenery that will captivate you for hours.
Underfloor heating keeps you warm with no radiators to spoil the view. A 3-seater, 2-seater settee and armchair coupled with a glass coffee table create the perfect space to sit back, relax and watch the wildlife while a glass dining table offers one of the best views you will ever have to sit and enjoy your meals with.
A set of sliding doors open directly from the lounge onto a glass balcony. Perfect to watch the colours of the sunset shining in the sky across the water with a glass of wine.

To make the most of the view at Oir na Mara, the lounge is upstairs while the bedrooms are downstairs.
2 bedrooms, both equipped comfortable beds (one king-size and one double), a wardrobe and a chest of drawers create a comfortable area to sleep while the tucked away position of the house combined with the downstairs nature of the bedrooms give a quiet night even in the stormiest of weathers.
Wooden Decking at Rear Image    Glass balcony with incredible views
At the rear of the property, with sheltered views looking north towards Portree, our decked area, accessed directly from the house through a sliding door into the hallway provides a perfect area for a meal prepared on our charcoal barbeque or just to sit and unwind.
For incredible uninterrupted views across the water, the glass balcony accessed from the Lounge/Dining area is the perfect position to have a glass of wine, relax and watch the wildlife while taking in the colours of the evening sky over the islands.
Bathroom Montage
There are 2 mid-sized bathrooms on the middle floor of Oir na Mara, one with a bath and the other with a shower. Both containing hand basins and toilets, they are finished to a high standard.
Steps down to the sea    View from the beach
Set into a steep hillside, Oir na Mara sits in its own land away from the main road with the house entered down some steps from a private carpark. A rocky shore is accessible down a set of stone steps from the property, perfect for sea kayaking or open water swimming. (Always have a spotter present if swimming)
